Pet Loss Quotes to Help You Grieve

When you’re experiencing pet loss, you may feel as though no one understands what you’re going through. You may feel as though your pain is not validated. At Memorials for a Lifetime, we want to help you as much as possible deal with the loss of your pet. The following are some quotes we’ve found on pet loss that we believe could help you.

How to Use Pet Loss Quotes

You can use these quotes in many ways to help you cope with the loss of your pet.

  • Write them down on post it notes and place them where you spend much of your time. This will help you grieve wherever you are and whatever you are doing.
  • Create images using the website Canva and then share them on social media to let people know how you’re feeling.
  • Memorize them, so you can tell them to yourself when you’re feeling overwhelmed by your feelings.
  • Create an image with the quote on it and put it up as your desktop wallpaper.
  • Write it on the back of a photo of your pet.

Create Your Own Pet Loss Quotes

Sometimes, you may not find a quote that expresses exactly how you feel. Instead of searching endlessly for one, why not write one yourself? Take some time to close your eyes and think of words that express your feelings. It may be helpful to write anything that comes to mind on a piece of paper. Don’t try to come up with any quotes or any sense of what you write down, just write whatever comes to mind for five minutes. After you’re done, you can probably step back and see some words that would make a great quote.

Try this exercise now. See what you come up with, and then leave a comment below. We would love to read some of your quotes and they will probably help others who are grieving!
