Balinese – Cat Breed of the Week

Balinese are intelligent and affectionate. They love to be around their owners and their owners love to around them.
They enjoy communicating with their meows. They know you understand them, so don’t try to tell them you don’t understand what they want.

What makes Balinese unique is that they love riding on their owners’ shoulders. Since they are agile leapers, they aren’t afraid to go leaping through the air on and off your shoulders and other structures. Yes, it will seem as though they are flying through the air. And as cats do, they land on four feet.
Balinese cats don’t do well alone. They want to be cuddled up next to their owner as much as possible. This means that if you love to spend time with your pets on the couch or in bed, this cat is perfect for you. It also means that these cats are better for people who don’t work a lot. An eight hour day can be very lonely and depressing for the Balinese.

The Appearance of Balinese
Many people confuse the Balinese with a Siamese or Himalayan. While they do share similar characteristics, they have some striking differences that make them unique. The Balinese is a descendant of the Siamese, thought. They have the four traditional colors: seal, blue, chocolate, and lilac.
